Within the energy field popularization project, JSC “EP Georgia Generation” hosted the students of “Edelweiss” eco club of Badiauri public school at the company owned air turbine power plant gPower.
JSC “EP Georgia Generation” and JSC “ENERGO-PRO Georgia Holding” are actively engaged in the promotion of the energy sector and implement number of projects in this regard. Companies actively cooperate with vocational and public schools, conduct introductory lessons and trainings, and then take students to company-owned hydropower plants, where they are introduced to the plant’s working processes on the spot.
In 2023, CENN, with the financial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation, hosted the final meeting of the youth environmental competition – Niko Ketskhoveli School Prize. As one of the partner companies, JSC “ENERGO-PRO Georgia Holding” named the company’s chosen eco club at the mentioned meeting, which became the Badiauri Public School Eco club “Edelweiss”. The company granted the club with a 1,200 GEL financial prize and arranged a meteorological laboratory in Badiauri school.
The main goal of cooperation with educational institutions is the promotion of energy and electrical engineering fields among young people, which is one of the important directions of the company’s strategy.
