Chkhorotsku HPP

Chkhorotsku HPP is a small HPP with medium head. It is located in Chkhorotsku township, Samegrelo upper Svaneti area. The HPP is built on the river Khobistskali. It operates without regulation-“run-of-river”.

Chkhorotsku HPP was put into operation in 1967. The design installed capacity of the HPP is 6.0 MW, the design generation of electricity is 22.0 million kWh.
