“EP Georgia Generation” JSC has significant role in strengthening the energy sector of Georgia and achieving energy independence. It also makes a significant contribution to the employment of the local population.

JSC “EP Georgia Generation” has a large area of electricity production, owns and provides safe operation of generation facilities, both in Western and Eastern Georgia. Most of the regulatory and seasonal hydropower plants are concentrated in the western part of the country. No less importance have he seasonal hydroelectric power plants on the runoff of river Mtkvari, in eastern Georgia and the Gardabani air turbine power plant, which is the first successful attempt to introduce the latest energy technologies in thermal energy sector of Georgia.

By means of each generation facility and structural units of the company (Department of monitoring and repair hydrotechnical facilities and civil construction: Hydrotechnical Monitoring group, Civil repairs group; Project Department; Department  of Maintenance & Repair: Division of Electrical  Repair, Division of Mechanical Repair, Welders Group, Sandblaster and painting division, Mechanical  Workshop/division; Department of exploitation, diagnostic and Maintenance  of HPPs: Technical division, Division of Diagnostics & Maintenance) created in the company, the hydro potential of Georgian rivers is managed wisely and cheap electricity is produced for the user with a reliable, flexible, environmentally friendly resource, with the safe and efficient functioning of hydro generation facilities.

JSC „EP Georgia Generation“ – the company owns and operates 15 hydroelectric power plant with a total Installed capacity of 490.827 MW, total design generation 2 Bln. kWh, that were built in the last century and G-Power (Installed capacity 110 MW),which is operating since 2006 year.
